Are you ready to step up your game and transform your students into physically literate adults?
This session will enable participants to design, implement, and align high school Physical Education courses to meet the needs of today’s students while addressing the Wisconsin Standards for Physical Education. Participants will engage in hands-on-activities to create assessments and walk away with a benchmark planning guide, sample assessment ideas, and strategies for restructuring courses to be aligned with the Wisconsin Standards for Physical Education.
Objectives:

Recognize the importance of aligning the Wisconsin Standards for Physical Education when designing Physical Education curriculum

Discuss ways to implement the Wisconsin Standards for Physical Education in your PE curriculum

Walk away with activities and assessments aligned to the Wisconsin Standards for Physical Education that can be implemented immediately in your individual fitness Physical Education class
