Participants will:

support flexible addition and subtraction reasoning.

Designed For:

Classroom teachers, interventionists, special educators, instructional coaches, and mathematics leaders seeking to strengthen
instruction in early number, counting, and addition and subtraction strategies. This course equips educators with a deep understanding of early number development
and additive reasoning. Participants explore how students develop counting strategies, addition, and subtraction understanding, and early number
relationships.  By using diagnostic assessments and responsive instructional strategies, educators strengthen their ability to make data-informed teaching decisions that
accelerate student learning.
