This timely and impactful workshop is designed for secondary teachers seeking to strengthen students’ writing and comprehension skills across content areas—at a time when it has never been more urgent. With Wisconsin’s reading scores continuing to reflect significant gaps, especially among struggling and underserved learners, we will focus on universal-level strategies that reach all students—not just some. Dive into practical, high-leverage tools that help close comprehension gaps, elevate student voice through writing, and empower teachers to respond with confidence. Whether you teach English, science, or social studies, you will leave equipped to make literacy growth a shared, schoolwide mission.
